McCain Family Fall SessionThis was a mini session and I wasn't familiar with the location which always makes me nervous. When you come in from out of town to a clients home I feel like it's always risky. One thing I try to express to my clients is how important lighting is in sessions. You can have the most jaw dropping back ground but without good light it's just "eh" in photos. The same goes for a boring background with beautiful lighting. Your photos are transformed somehow by the magic that is good lighting. Alison did a great job choosing this location and we arrived at the perfect time. Her little family is so beautiful and I loved the way they interacted both tenderly and with lots of laughter.
